I am a U.S. citizen (being sponsored by my Canadian wife) and filling out the app for sponsorship. Under Schedule 1, question 15 about all addresses since I have been 18, I am wondering about whether to put my address here while I have been here on a study permit. I have been here for almost two years, but technically my residential address is at my father's house in the states. Should I only include his address for this time period or put the address here even though I am here only temporarily?
I am wondering because in the "Sponsored Spouse/Partner Questionnaire", I am stating that I have been living here with my spouse while I am in school.
If you are actually living (as opposed to a stay of a few weeks, say, for a vacation or summer school) at a place for an extended time, put that as your address. If you've been at one address for two years, say so, especially if you also claim to be living there with your spouse. You can also say your father's address is your permanent mailing address.
I have a question about all the addresses since I've been 18, too.
They asked to list all residential addresses I've lived since 18.
I don't think a hotel address counts? (for example, I have travelled several times in other countries.)
But they asked to put every detail in the "Personal History" section, including traveling, studying....
Does it make sense if I put "2011/09-2011/11: traveling in europe" in the Personal History section but put my home address in the Address section for the same period?
Yes. Usually when someone is traveling, they still have a home. So use your home address as your address during that time; the hotels you stayed in were just temporary and don't count.
Now if you stayed in one hotel for months, you could list it as your address. But in your example there is no need.

I actually live in a hotel since 2010 which calls for my job and I declared it including my Rm. number, as well I declared the addresses of relatives I lived with even if I stayed for a month as it has significance connection with the history of me and my husbands love story... which is essential to our applications.
I have a question along these lines... If anyone has any input...
I have traveled in and out of Canada for a few years to volunteer and study at a buddhist center. I have been there for a few months at a time, but never like, received mail there or felt I lived there, and kept a home base in America. In your opinion should I declare these Canadian addresses?
