If you were criminally charged for driving under influence. The would have given you charge sheet stating when to appear in court and probably would have taken you to station for finger printing. Since nothing like that happened than you were not criminally charged. Means you were only charged under the traffic act which bears no affect on your PR. So feel free its just like getting a speeding ticket. Hope that helps.
If you committed some traffic offence other than 'driving under the influence' (i.e. alcohol or drugs), and your police certificate uses the term "DUI" to refer to this incident, then I imagine this will be a problem, yes.
"Section 151" of what? Where did the incident happen?

When I google Section 151 it comes up as sex offenses. When I look up the Traffic Safety Act, Alberta, Section 151 refers to operating commercial vehicles.
However, Section 51 of the TSA DOES refer to driving without a license, or the proper license.
