Hello,

I am a Canadian citizen residing in Saskatchewan for 7-8 years. My cousin brother (my dad's cousin's son) wants to come here either on study visa or thru Provincial Nominee program.

He has finished his Bachelors of Arts degree from a government college in India. He is currently doing Masters. He has given IELTS and has got 6.0 overall.

I know it might not be true, but I heard somewhere that it is legally possible to even sponsor friends through sponsorship. I do not think he will be eligible under SNIP. Please advise. What are his options?
