Sample "Letter of Intent" and "Support Letter"

For my Provincial Nominee Program/Community Identified Stream application I was asked to provide a "Letter of Intent" describing my background, reasons for my wish to immigrate, my ties to the community as well as a show of how to contribute to the local economy.
While it is clear to me what information needs to go into this letter I'm lacking sort of a layout and word choice/phrasing.
Can anybody point me to a sample, or share his/hers Letter of Intent?

I was also asked to get "Support Letters" from community members describing me. I am not sure if these folks know how to go about such a letter. I don't.
If anybody has a sample here too would be very much appreciated.
