Hello,
Seeing that no one on this forum is talking about Ryerson University made me wonder whether I am the only one who has applied there.
So, If you have applied to Ryerson for Fall '13, please come forward and post on this thread. Guys who are already studying there please post your experience.

I have also applied there but not got admission yet, even if I get I will not go there...it's an xpensive uni ani have got admission from others already

It is a very good University. So don't worry.

Hey even i applied to Rye M.eng Mechanical. But no news or any updates from their side. I've already got in Concordia, so i'm taking that. Have you applied to any other universities? Share ur profile pls

Hi Vish!
I have applied to M.Eng. Computer Networks in Ryerson. Besides that, I have applied in Mc Master as well as University of Regina. Still haven't send my Official Transcripts to Mc Master though.
My profile is

B.Tech - 69%
12th - 78 %
10th - 69%
IELTS 7.5 (R-9, W-6, L-8.5, S-6)
2 Yrs. Work Ex.

Hoping that my profile is good enough to get offer from at least two of the three Universities!

No, I stay in Toronto . So i know about it.

That's nice!
Can you please tell me about the reputation of Ryerson University and whether the M.Eng Computer Network taught there is a good option.
The university is indeed very costly when compared to other Canadian Universities, but there must be a reason for that.

Ryerson is a nice University and quality of Education is also nice. It's in the Downtown core.
If you have good marks and can afford expensive education.
University of Toronto is the BEST CHOICE.

The reason is that it's located in downtown and hence its students get jobs relatively easily compared to others. Also, like others its faculty is very well known in that there are number of professors from IITs (since you're Indian, you would know their quality).
My uncle works in Teranet and there are most Ryerson graduates than U of T.

Thanks both of you!
As far as UoT is concerned, I don't think my marks are good enough to get an offer from them!

I think your marks are good enough, and seeing that most of the members on this forum are not interested in Ryerson due to it's high fees, I think you'll surely get an offer! All the Best. :)
btw, which other Universities have you applied to?
