Dear all,

Can i pay RPRF fee in indian currency? If so where can i get written form so that i can show it to bank.?
Thanking u all in advance.

U dont require to show anyone in written, ur bank shd make u a DD payable New Delhi in Indian Rupees..talk t the Branch Manager or any1 senior and ask them where it is written, remember u r the customer...

how much in Indian currency?

$ 490 mutiplied by 53, thats the figure per person

They don't take payment in CA$ ?

they take in CAN $ (in name of Receiver General of Canada) as well as INR (Teh High Commission of Canada)...

Hi cool,

My agent is asking AED 5500 Landing fee for 2 adults and 3 kids.
He argues that hey have special arrangements with HSBC coz in the past there were some issues with the LOCAL DD for which some files got rejections. Hence they dont wanna take risk so the charge is high in the bank and the cost is passed to the customer...

I have no choice but to agree....so OMR 350 for Medical and AED 5500 for landing fee....

Then wats the confusion, make the payment in CA$ and keep it simple

Save yourself some trouble. Just read the instructions for fee payment on the ND web site. http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/india-inde/visas/fees-frais.aspx?view=d

i made a draft to reciever general in indian cuurency do i made mistake i confirm with bank they said me that my draft was debited in march 2 and now my status has DM

The RPRF letter clearly states what name should the draft be. Not sure why there is so much confusion about it.

If you are making the draft in INR, it is going to be Canadian High Comission payable at New Delhi. If CAD, Receiver General of Canada payble in Canada.
