Guys, I want a quick answer, has anybody experienced faster processing paying RPRF upfront?
I have seen people lagging behind 5 months even if they paid it in advance.
Please advise me, if I will not pay RPRF, by how much time the processing will be delayed?
Each application is different and hence timelines vary.
People tend to pay upfront because if for any reason application is refused then CIC will anyhow refund the fees. If you choose to pay later, then few weeks/months down the line VO would send you reminder for fees payment and hold the processing till you make the payment.
Paying upfront may not lead to prefential processing but it will prevent delays as VO won't have to reach out to you for fees payment.
I did not pay upfront. Got PPR in 38 days since AOR. I think not paying upfront will cause no delay.

Russian,
If you had paid your RPRF upfront, you would have got your PPR on the 20th of Jan instead of the RPRF request.

Is there an option to pay RPRF after submitting eAPR and AOR, but before requested by VO?
