Respected Seniors,
I have sent my Meds, passports, RPRF, PCC to CHC on 21st Nov. I found out that on 1st Dec, they have enchashed the Demand Draft of RPRF. Kindly throw some light on this. Is it a positive sign towards getting the PR visa granted.
offcourse it is good thing but this is not the only criteria for granting visa.they will do backgorund checks and security checks with that your medical report will be checked.
when every thing goes well then off course maple leaf will be yours
also tell me one thing are your MI1 applicant?and when you received MR

Also as per some senior comments, I got an understanding that the Meds request is only sent after the Background check. Only The Security check is done only after the Meds.

dear it depends upon the visa office as in new delhi visa office background and security checks are initiated after medicals.
so that was the reason i was asking you for visa office.
@migrator
How did u came to know about DD encashed.Did u enquired from the issuing bank or u got an receipt from the CHC.
As far as ur question goes DD encashedment is an routine procedure since nowadays validity is for 3 months only in india, but the good thing for u is that ur docs have been placed in the file.
Background/security checks are done after medicals on the basis of the updated forms provided in the additional docs.
