Hi there, if a family obtains a PR and citizenship but the father voluntarily renounced his PR because of his obligations in his home country (employment) but later wants to gain his PR again, which immigration strategies are viable? is there an official PR process that deals with this type of restoration?

Hello, he voluntarily renounced his PR because he was living abroad most of the time for employment and wanted seamlessly enter Canada to visit Canada occasionally to see the family. He knew his PR renewal would be refused when his PR card expires, required him to attend an inquiry, and adjudicated for loss of his PR for having a short residency record. Thank you.
