Reviewing Eligibility before Medical?

I applied for a student permit in Malaysia on May 27th, Biometrics Uploaded June 9th. Did not do medicals upfront, rather i'm waiting for IRCC to request it.

Today, however, I noticed a change in my application stating that my application is being reviewed for eligibility but I still have not done my medicals, which is required in my country. On the portal, it still says 'You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.'

Just wanted to know if anyone else experienced a similar thing.

They will definitely send you a request to do your medicals soon
