Review of eligibility: How long do I still have to wait for?

Hello,

I'm on the BCPNP program via Express Entry to come to Canada.
I submitted my EE application in on April 4th, 2020, The website says I should have got a result on Oct.4th, 2020.
But it is Oct.17th now, and I still have not get the result.

My current status on the website is:

Review of eligibility: We are now reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements.
Background check:　We are processing your background check
Passed Medical exam on Jun.2nd, 2020
No additional documents needed
Interview not required
Biometrics completed on Jun.4th,2020
Final decision: in process

Does anyone know when I might get the final result? Will I be rejected?
Does the virus have a role to play in the delay?
Anything I can do to expedite the process?

Hi @Anntony, There is a delay due to Covid-19. To check the status of your application you can either call the IRCC or order GCMS notes.
There is nothing you can do to speed up the process. Good luck!
