revenue certificate with tax certificate, study permit

I am trying to apply for study permit online. As some places still affected in my country because covid19. my dad couldn't get the certificate of revenues that he gets from a state institution along with tax certificate. Though, he got his bank statement for the last 6 months, salary attestation. My father still have the business revenue certificate and tax certificate he got for 2019, but no able to get the 2020 one. Would that be Ok, if I attach last year certificate, because the business revenue is mentioned as fixed.

For proof of fund you need

  proof of a Canadian bank account in your name, if you've transferred money to Canada
• Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) from a participating Canadian financial institution
• proof of a student or education loan from a bank
• your bank statements for the past 4 months
• a bank draft that can be converted to Canadian dollars
• proof you paid tuition and housing fees
• a letter from the person or school giving you money or
• proof of funding paid from within Canada, if you have a scholarship or are in a Canadian-funded educational program

Tax certificate is not proof of funds

Maybe you didn't get what I am trying to say. The salary attestation is required. Part of my dad's salary is a business revenue. For business revenue, I have last year's certificate, usually when business revenue is attached, a tax certificate is required to prove that you pay your taxes for that. I think it's clear for now?

Is the business revenue going into your bank account?

Proof of funds isn't about who's paying for your studies.

Proof of funds means to justify where the money came from in your account. You have a sponsor but the money isn't even in your name, do you think that the visa officer is going to believe you have access to the money?
