Returning with 20 days remaining to meet RO

Hello,
I became a PR in Jan 2015 and stayed in Canada for 2 months before returning to my home country. I am planning to return next month to live there permanently. I will have around 20 days buffer to meet RO. I don't plan to travel much once I am there. Do you'll think there might be any issues at immigration. My PR card is valid till April 2020.

You're good as long as you have the buffer. Just don't mathematically eliminate your chances to meet RO by the end of 5 years when you go to renew your PR.

Just fyi, your 5 year residency obligation clock starts from your date of landing. The expiry date on your PR card is irrelevant.

Yes. That's how I have calculated and will have 20 days of buffer. Should be ok, right?

Yeah you'll be good.

Once in Canada you can't leave for more than 20 days. I wouldn't be taking any holidays, keep those 20 days for family emergencies/unforeseen circumstances.
