I completed my landing in Canada from Buffalo by road in Nov 2011 but could not apply for the PR card. I understand I have to apply for a returning resident visa if I travel by air. Can someone tell me how long it takes to get this visa? LA office does not offer in-person services effective from June 1,2012. Will NY office issue the visa in-person the same day if all required documents are submitted?
