Hello,

We filed the immigration in US and we got first approval of 120 days. After sending all the documents,(nov 2009) in next 5 months we came back to india as our visa expired. In April 2010 the embassy send all our documents back as some information was missing, but at that time we were not in US. we have forwarded all our letters to my friends place. I received the parcel today. The embassy said u can resubmit the complete document within 60 days. But now its more than 60 days. Can you all pls suggest what should i do now? pls pls pls......

Hi

Did you inform visa office about your change of address when you left for india?

Cheers
Saki

Actually I asked lot of people in this forum about it and most of them said wait till embassy clears your document and before the interview they will reconfirm about it or ask any changes need to be done.. so i didnt inform them....

Hi,

You should have informed the visa office at that time, i dont think there is much you can do unless you can send your documents to visa office again with an exceptional reason that why you could'nt send it within the given time frame then they might accept it.

Wait for seniors they might advise you something else.

Cheers

Pls pour in your comments on this ......

Rather than awaiting peoples comment I will advise you to put the documents together ASAP and resend it...worst is rejection but it can also be approved.

What does ecas says "in process"? may be your file is not closed yet.

All the best

Well, according to your old post (http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/moving-out-t36999.0.html;msg243372#msg243372), the advice PMM gave you was:

Except the OPs application is being processed in Buffalo. To answer your question (unasked) no they won't transfer the application. The OP has to give a new mailing address to Buffalo, also s/he has to figure out how to get to the US if an interview is needed and how to get the passports to and from Buffalo if a visa is to be issued. Buffalo won't mail them out of their processing area, and it is illegal to mail/courier passports in/out of India.

PMM
(emphasis mine)

I don't know if you have any options at this point except to send the additional documents and hope. Since you didn't inform them of your new address, I don't see how you can argue there were extenuating circumstances. Perhaps someone more senior has a miracle up their sleeve.
