I am a college student currently enrolled in a 3years program.
September - December 2022 (1st semester)
January-April 2023 (2nd semester)
September-December 2023 (3rd semester)
January-April 2024 (4th semester) (current)
To date, I have passed all of my scheduled classes and have not dropped any classes.
I believe I have been taking all of my classes full-time.
I have one major course from my first semester and I want to retake it during the summer vacation from April to September.
The reason is that I passed my major course, but because of the nature of our department, there is a certification exam, so I need to retake the class to qualify for the exam again. ( one year already has expired)
I heard that the requirement for the PGWP is to be full-time all semesters except the last semester. If I retake only one class in summer vacation, that would make me part-time, will it be a problem when I apply for PGWP visa later?
In conclusion, I would like to retake only one course in my major online during the summer vacation.
Also, if possible, would it be okay to work during the summer?
