Hi All,

I have a problem. I was on PGWP for a year.I got a full time job worked there for 7 months. Applied for open work permit extension. It git rejected because of no LMO. I am trying to restore my status as a student and I got an offer letter from Trios College for supply chain. I was to apply for the study permit and one of the lawyers told me that there is very less chances to get a study permit since it is a private college. He told me go for a public funded college. I am so confused. Is it true that we dont get study permits when we apply for private colleges?????? Pls. help :(

The school must appear on the Designated Learning Institution list:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/study/study-institutions-list.asp

If your school is not on the list then your study permit won't be approved.
