Residency obligations for New pr.

Hi everyone. I know a pr needs 730 days of physical presence in Canada to maintain status. However I seem to recall that in any period of 1 year the pr needs to spend 6 months in Canada. Is that correct? I can't find this info anymore on cic.

Bill C6 did away with the 6 month per year requirement.

Just to be clear the 6 month requirement was associated with the physical presence requirements for applying for citizenship and not for maintaining PR status.

PR residency obligation remains as a minimum of 2 years in a 5 year period. This is the first five years from initial landing and after that it becomes a rolling 5 years.
