Landed Canada in Aug 26,2016 stayed for 2 weeks then went back to my country. Frequenting Canada every Summer and Winter (as my brother and his family are citizens)since 2016 until Jan 2019 staying 2 weeks everytime but I cannot fulfill my RO because of my present work, and taking care of my elderly parents so I will voluntarily renounce my PR status as I am concerned of having problems at the port of entry. I will be returning to Canada this July 2019 and again in December.
There was no timeline for the processing for the renounciation that’s why I am planning to do it after I get back in July. As I needed to wait for the approval of the renounciation first before I can apply for the TRV which probably be 30-45 days and I am concerned might not have enough time before my trip in July.
My concern is , will I be reported for not fulfilling my RO at the port of entry when I go back to Canada in July 2019?
I was planning to apply for the renounciation after July 2019 .
Or shall I apply for the renounciation now?
