Residence Obligation Appeal Hearing

Good morning everybody and wish you all a very Happy New year.

I want to appeal against the rejection of my PRTD from outside Canada. I want to hearing the appeal through tele conference.

Do I have to pay any fees for this conference?

Please guide… Thanks

I haven’t seen any costs associated with an appeal, other than your own legal fees and I believe prepaid phone cards but others can comment.

Thank you so much Champion Member. My query is IAD will call me for hearing or I have to call them?

Reading the text in the above link my guess is that they will give you a time and date to call in. So putting the onus on the applicant to ensure they are available at the designated time as opposed to IAD chasing around to contact someone.

As said that is a guess on my part not based on fact.
