Dears ,

I Just stayed 45 days in Canada ; I had never been there since . I have 1 months remaining , which is not enough to meet the residence requirement . If i want to go , i can enter the Canada secondly after i stay for 19 month will they renew the PR again . Please advise.

Rgds

If you return to Canada before your PR card expires then you will be allowed into Canada. However there is a chance you may be reported for failing to meet your residency obligation. If you are not reported, then you should remain in Canada for 2 years without leaving for even one day and then apply to renew your PR card. If you are reported, then you will have to appear in front of a judge to argue why you should be allowed to keep your PR status. If the judge decides against you, your PR status will be revoked and you will have to leave Canada.

Dears ,

If I have to re-apply , should i submit my PR card to candian consulate. Please advice

Regards

You have to first make up,your mind on the route you wish to take. Decide whether you would like to move permanently and then get to Canada and then play it by the ear.

Consulates abroad do not renew PR cards.
