I have a difficult time figuring out what to do .I applied as a research visiting student under 120 days for researchers with work permit exemption(skill level A) at Canada's embassy. The university told me to apply for work visa and i did the same, but I got rejected. The embassy told me I applied for the wrong visa and the officer said that I should apply for a sx-1 visa. which is not related to work. I am going to reapply. what should I state my goal this time in the embassy site since it is not work anymore : study or visit?(regarding what would you like to do in Canada question?)
