Hi,
I was a RA while doing my Master's in Canada under study permit. I would like to open an EE profile. I didn't do any TA duty. Am I eligible under FSW?
Do you have a contract and receive a stipend/salary?

Hi, I think you can not use it as the working experience because the working experience must be aquired when you are not studying fulltime. I have two years RA experience and one year and half TA experience but I did't use it as the working experience.

Actually I have seen some success stories by this way. They applied under FSW as it doesn’t mention that your work experience is not acceptable under study permit as in the case for CEC. But they have TA experience which I don’t. That’s why confused
TA or research assistantship in Canada is not acceptable. My friend was banned for five years for claiming points for that. A court ruled that the decision was too harsh. He has since declined to file using that route. Similar experience gained outside Canada is acceptable. So my word is not to use your in Canada student work experience. It’s risky

And one of my friends got PR by only showing RA/TA experience in canada under study permit. It’s really confusing

Hi,
I have 449 points on CRS website. i have a masters degree from Toronto. However, i do not have 1 year continuous work experience to show. However, i had done TA/RA as a masters student for 2 years.
I am wondering whether I can apply for express entry.
