I am in a situation where I can't figure out the NOC for my job. I worked as a full time Research Assistant for 1 year after I completed my Bachelor's degree in engineering and want to use this experience for express entry. I searched for NOC code for Research Assistant but if shows only NOC 4012 which is for someone who have worked in a university or college. But, I worked in a science research organization and not in university or college but my job responsibility is similar to that mentioned for Research assistant (NOC 4012). Can I still apply for express entry with NOC 4012? Can someone please suggest if there is any specific NOC code for research assistant not working in university/school?
