Rescheduling Oath Ceremony

I have been waiting for 8 months for oath ceremony Rescheduling.
Original virtual oath was for July 2023- I was traveling, so I requested to be re-scheduled.
First re-scheduling was for October 2023- virtually...but they cancelled saying that it was booked "in error". There was no ceremony booked for that day.
I emailed them two months ago, i received an automatic reply but I never received an actual reply addressing my concern.
I believe my application went to Mississauga although I am from Kitchener/Waterloo area.
On the tracking board the citizenship ceremony shows 'In progress', everything else shows completed since July, The tracking board shows updated every so often but nothing else changes.
Is this normal to wait 8 months for oath ceremony Re-scheduling? When should I be worry about it? What's the longest people have waited?

Rescheduling is always tricky. You can call IRCC/ take help of MP office/Raise a webform request to get an update. That might help them get up from there sleep and schedule your oath.

Thank you for your reply. But I already reached out to my MP 2 months ago. They got back to me saying that the application is complete, nothing is pending and that the Oath Ceremony is in progress. Exactly the same information we already knew.

Hello @oduv.. Did you ever got any update ?
I was scheduled for December 20th, but couldn't attend as I was travelling outside Canada. And now, Kitchener office is not replying.
8 months is veryy long and I just want to understandwhen were they able to finally schedule you ?
