Requirements for Proof of funds

Hi folks,

Hope everyone is doing well.

For the proof of funds,
1- Do you need the funds to be in your current account or saving account ? or it does not matter ?
2- Also, apart from the bank statements do you also need a confirmation letter from the bank confirming that you do not have any outstanding debt (loan, credit card balance payable) ?
