Requirement of Canadian Police Clearance

Hi All,

I have been in Canada since the age of 18 and haven't visited my home country (India) for more that cumulative 6months. Do I need Canadian police clearance certificate for CEC application?

you’re not required to give Canadian PCC upfront. An officer MAY request for it later on after you submitted your app.

“Police certificates are required upfront and are mandatory for each country (except Canada) where an individual has spent 6 months or more in a row within the last 10 years. The individual does not need to provide one for any period of time before the age of 18.”
