Hi all,

I recently submitted my PR application under the Canadian Experience Class.

I did not take an upfront medical, so I just submitted a proof that I had booked one with my application.

However, in my profile it states the following:
  • You do not need a medical exam. We will send you a message if this changes.

Today I received a message in my profile titled "Request Letter"

In the message it states:

This is in reference to your application for permanent residence in Canada. In order for us to continue the review of your application, we require the following documents:

 94639836 - Luke Joseph Fantom:
 Medical: Complete or provide proof of completion of the Immigration medical examination

Please upload these documents to your MyCIC account by 2019/10/12.

My profile still shows that I do not need a medical exam and I have not received an IMM 1017E yet?

Can anyone explain exactly which documents are required and the next steps I should take?

Thank you in advance,

Luke

do not worry about the profile update. yes it may be strange you did not receive the form. get your medical done before the date and the paper which you will get from the medical clinic, upload that on your profile
take the request letter with you when you go for medical, the clinic will be able to send your medical to IRCC.

Thank you for the information, I was quietly hoping that I wouldn't need a medical as it is so expensive to get one in London!

Thanks again
