Request Letter from IRCC for HK / Hong Kong CNCC

Hi All,
I am processing my work permit processing and one of the documents needed is CNCC from Hong Kong Police. As per HK Police they can issue this only after getting a request letter from IRCC. Can someone share when IRCC will release this request letter?

I have completed my medical assessment, biometrics and it is 5 weeks since the work permit application has been submitted

I'm in the same boat, I've also spend > 6months in HK and need the consulate letter for HK Police clearance. Still waiting. According to my company's lawyers, its taking around 6-8 weeks for the consulate letter to arrive

My timeline as per below:

Location - Karachi, Pakistan
GTS LMIA filed: 13th May 2022
Upfront Medicals: 17th May 2022
LMIA approved: 20th May 2022
Application submitted: 6th June 2022
Biometrics completed: 8th June 2022
PPR - not received yet
Passport picked up on - waiting
Received Passport - waiting

Thanks..well 6-8 weeks doesnt look long considering we are now in July , fingers crossed!
