Dear Tokyo applicants,
Could you please give me hints how we pay to PRPR fees to Tokyo visa office.
I have recently got medical request (together with 2nd AOR) and I have the same case of my wife getting pregnant and expecting the baby in October.
To, OKSHAN819,
You once wrote that you had the same case. Could you please share how you solved the problem.
Will they listen our request if I ask the medical test after the baby will born (October)?
Your inputs will be highly appeciated and awaiting.
Right, you can pay by ATM if you can read Japanese! Or you might ask a clerk to do it for you. No credit card payment, sorry!
By the way, it that true that you got medical and passport requests in less than 10 days after submitting your docs to the Tokyo office? Has your online status changed into In process already?
Yes WPC71,
I got all four things together by post which is out of my imagination.
As my wife is pregrant, so I was making the whole process slower waiting for deadline of 120 days , but they are unnecessarily faster in my case.
But my wife is now pregrant, so, I am thinking to request them to postpond the medicals once the baby is born.
Regarding to your previous post in another thread, in one form, they asked me to send the passport in 30 days, I guess this form is old format as you mentioned. In another form, they asked to furnish the documents what they have requested within 60 days from the issuance of the letter.
Thanks for your sugestion and I can read, write Japanese, so there is no problem for me to use (Japanese) ATM.
Good to hear that you're in the last stages of the process!
And congratulations for your baby!!!
About the RPRF:
I paid directly at a Citibank branch in Tokyo, but it's possible to do it via bank transfer (furikomi) from a different bank. You just do it at the ATM, then send the receipt to the Embassy. Many ATMs now have English screens, so you shouldn't have problems. If in doubt, go to an ATM of a branch office within banking hours (instead of using the "stand alone" ATMs without human clerks).
first of all congratulations! As far as pregnancy goes you have two options. U can still do your medicals now because the x Ray will not hurt the fetus. The doctor reassured me when I had mine done and my baby is healthy . So if you are concerned about it talk to the doctor because most likely they will tell you there is no reason to b concerned. Plus, if you are lucky you can get your visa soon and your wife can give birth in Canada. Your baby will be a Canadian citizen automatically.
Now, if you want to wait until the baby is born that is fine too. The visa office will wait until the baby is born . Although, in thus case it will take much longer to finalize your application.
Friendly advice, I would say there really is no concern . Your wife must be 13 weeks pregnant by now. You can have the x Ray before you reach week 20. Once you reach week 20 of ur pregnancy, then the doctor will not perform the x Ray.
