I got my student visa and Letter of Approval recently from Canadian embassy in India.
However, due to some unforeseen personal circumstances, I am unable to fly to Canada and pursue my Course - MBA at a University.
I am planning to defer my admit at the University to next year Intake in August 2017.
Meanwhile I am thinking of applying to a 2 year PGD course in Software Dev at a college in Canada for January entrance.
Provided I get admission,
My questions are as follows,
1) Can I change from University to College? That too from MBA to PGD/ Grad Certificate in a different area?
2) Do I need to reapply for a new Visa? (my visa is valid till 2017 December)
3) Will this create any issues for me at POE ?
I am an experienced Mechanical Engineer (over 5 years) but want to shift into the IT industry. In fact in the MBA I was planning to specialize in Info systems Management.
Kindly advise me on this matter.
