Hi all!

I hope you've been doing well.

It's a very tricky situation I am in right now, and I would be grateful for any suggestions or guidance.

I am about to graduate from a Master's program at a public university. I will have to apply for the PGWP soon, say May 2023. I applied for jobs and recently got a great offer. I really like both the work, as well as the workplace culture. It's a bunch of great people in general, and I'll also get to work with a supervisor and team who are all awesome.

I have maxed out my IELTS score, and I'm much less than 30 years. As of today, if I use the CRS score calculator, I get 501 points assuming I have one year of skilled work experience in Canada. I have some work experience from home, but it's not continuous so it doesn't contribute to CRS points. Essentially, 501 is the maximum I can get.

I really want to take up this work opportunity, but I am not sure whether 501 will be enough to get an invite once IRCC starts NOC-based draws. My NOC is not in demand, and I have confirmed that my employer will not do an LMIA or fill out specific forms. I'll essentially have work only until my PGWP is valid.

Given this, should I now look into applying for another study program that will help me with PNP? I see that there are some Master's degrees that are preferred by some provinces for their PNP student stream. It also looks like I meet the admission requirements. Being in Canada helps me be away from an abusive environment back home, so I really want to ensure I at least get an ITA. But again, this job is just too good, and it's the ideal work for me.

It's really stressful now, since I'm not sure what I should focus on. Are there people in a similar situation? I'll be really thankful for any advice or suggestions. Have a nice day!
