My client is 87 year old Samantha Steven. She resides in her 3 bedroom home in Hamilton, Ontario . (1 hour to Toronto by train) She suffers from dementia. She has a son currently working in USA and he cannot take care her of her. This will be a 2 year contract. And it can be extended after.

She will pay 18 CAD /hour. Sundays are off. After 44 hours the hourly wage is 27 CAD/hour. Private room with cable/internet and private washroom will be provided. The start of employment is April 2019. They may deduct 600 CAD/month from your salary for meal/room.

The breakdown of salary

Is this a scam?
Well only guessing but maybe the original poster based on the thread title thinks so or has reason without explanation to think it is a scam. Shame they did not clarify why they think there is a problem.

I have no view one way or the other based in what has been posted other than the fact that an applicant should not pay the LMIA fee only the employer can/should do that.

This Is likely the hook. You pay the LIMA and visa fees. Kiss that money good bye.
