Replacing lost card

my husband recently lost his pr card. He applied for a new one a few weeks ago. I know the website said it can take up to 165 days depending on the circumstances. Has anyone had to replace a card? If so...how long did it take?

You issue date will most likely be the date you had your landing interview.. the date that you became a PR. When you get your new card I would recommend keeping a scanned copy in your safe or files

He had an emergency and ended up leaving back to the US. He will probably end up applying for a travel documnet. They gave him a bit of trouble for entering without his card
