My child was born in Singapore and therefore an Indian citizen by descent. We are now Canadian Permanent Residents and reside in Canada.

We are travelling to India next month. When we depart from India, his passport will be having only 5 months of validity. Not sure if Indian immigration will cause issues. So we plan to renew his passport in India.

Question: Should I be providing our Canadian address as present address. If yes, what proof can be provided for his present address.
