I got the request from CIC for the Permanent Visa and for that I have to send the passport and other documents. Recently I have renewed my passport as it was expiring but CIC has my old passport information, So now should I sent both the passport or just the new passport and the photocopy of the old passport.

I have submitted my work permit application package on May 29, 2011 in Abu Dhabi Embassy with the copy of all the pages of my passport which will expire on September 1, 2013. Since I am crossing the borders frequently from UAE to Saudi Arabia as a Trailer driver, I'm afraid that my passport will ran out of empty page for the visa. Is it allowed by CIC to submit a new passport attached with my old one which will be cancelled by our Philippine embassy in Abu Dhabi?
