Renewal of work permit got refused

Hi guys !! I'm here for all of your suggestions. I applied for renewal of work permit but my lawyer forgot to apply within 90 days of restoration and he applied on 92nd day but I also had positive Lmo and still got Refused. I received letter stating that it had been refused cuz we failed to apply within 90 days. Any ideas or options I could use? I can't even apply for study permit as I'm out of status. Plz help I don't even have much time left Cic asked me to leave ASAP . My lawyer said he is sorry I have been here from 5 years . I worked for 2 years already with my employer and I'm all ready to apply for PR but have no status and my lawyer he applied it after the restoration days he said his staff forgot it . I have spent 5 years of my life here but now they refused my case where I'm not even at fault .

1. Leave, and as the LMO is still valid, apply for a work permit overseas.

Yea but I'm Indian national and from there to get live in caregiver work permit takes 2 Years for processing .

My experience is never rely everything on a lawyer or an agent if you can do it yourself. they can help but you have to pay close attention and remind them from time to time. they have so many cases to take care everyday. No one really cares about our own case so much but ourselves. I know it's too late saying these but you should have learned sth from it. and Wish you good luck for your future.

you r right these kind of consultant secured up.....these lawyer rememeber about money ......always become thick skin persons front them ...and keep remind every things.

so soory to hear .....but one positive thing u have lmo ....find out how much u r country take time to work permit .because lmo only six month valid..so asap apply from our home country ....and if u have USA visa u can go their and apply from there......

Boss,dont worry at all.You are fully safe.Just tell us when is ur LMO issued.If it is still valid,immediately go to INDIA and apply from there and you will 100% get the work permit.If you want any kind of information for applying in india.Just tell me.I will help you fully free of cost.Dont waste time as these days strike of canada visa officers going on throughout world.Work is going on but at slow pace.Just leave canada immidiately and come back with new permit.

On oct 2010 got my LMO from existing employer plus Arranged employment .I applied for work permit which expired last yr 2012..since then Im studying.......I applied for CEC file last yr .........exactly after 1 yr they Rejected it by saying your 2 of the duties doesn't match(I know it was meaningless as rest were matching only the wording used was different in rest).......I beared the pain of rejection,,,,,,now SOMEONE PLSSSSSSSS HEP ME I DONT WANT TO GET REJECTED AGAIN .......CIC sent me recently to update some forms and provide current reference letter from employer (job must be permanent if in Canada)..........My worries are what documents explanation to send to them ....what do i need at this point to have my file approved.......I am getting mixed responses from everywhere.......had spend all of my money everywhere....no help so far...someone plz help

CEC is rfused,,,yes im studying right now.......VOfficer asking for provide update reference letter from current emplyer,,,i left job last yr as work permit expired but i have a permamnet offer from my emplyer.....plz suggest

Why dont you apply for LMO as your employer is ready to hire you permanently.

the employer said they have done it before for me and will hire me once im PR,,,they r not ready to apply for another LMO as they also knew my file is taking 3 yrs into processing.......my employer said how many times we have to apply for ur LMO,,,atleast they can offer me job

Sorry to hear that my friend that your work permit got refused. I know it is too late to say that but never depend on lawyer or consultant completely. You MUST do your home work and keep yourself updated with current information/changes even you used lawyer or consultant for your application. Mostly they concern about their fee only.

Hi gagan,
I think ur FSW application is still in process and they have asked you about current job.The most safest bet is to apply for LMO through ur old employer.You must offer him to pay for the fees which is 275 dollars and advertisement can be done on their behalf by you which i can guide you(Its free).But all this will take around 3 months.I dont know upto what time u have to apply.
Second option is to get old job letter in current date(In this letter they will mention your years of work and all duties ,pay etc which u got from 2010-2012.Also take new job offer on their letter head an finally send old experince letter with current date and new job offer plus write a covering letter to CIC mentioning complete details about ur current study after ur work permit expired but to the point only.
The third option is to RE-APPLY under CEC with correct duties,NOC code,salary and new letter from ur old employees.If posssible post ur CEC rejection letter..THis will help me to guide u in clear manner.
