Renewal of passport to change name before applying Spousal PR?

Hello All,

I got married in Dec 2021 in India. My wife had already applied her visitor visa on Aug 2021 (Well before our marriage). Now I am planning to apply for her spousal PR. But she was thinking to change her "Given Name" (Change in name after marriage) in passport before we submit our PR file application.

I am in dilemma that if I renew that passport with new details, would it impact current TRV file submitted in Aug 2021? Is there any way to change or inform IRCC about passport change information or other details information?

What is better thing to do?

Postpone the name change.

Postpone the name change.

Allright.. It would save me from unnecessary complexity in PR file and also for visitor I guess.
