Renew Post Graduate Work Permit in Singapore

Please help and advise!!!

My Malaysian passport is going to expire in Jan 30 2013, as well as my post graduate work permit. I get my post graduate work permit in July 14 2011.
I am planning to go back home and renew my passport in December as well as renew my post graduate work permit at the visa office in Singapore.

Now, I was wondering can I renew the post graduate work permit outside Canada? Will the visa office in Singapore process the application? Does anyone know about the visa office in Singapore? Please advise!!

Why don't you renew your passport at embassy or consulate here in Canada before going back to your home country in December. Then you can surely get your the rest of PGWP on your new passport. No?

Yes. I am considering it ....to renew it in Vancouver. The website say the processing time is 3 to 5 months. One of my friend's passport took about 3 months to renew it in Vancouver and the other friend took about 1.5 months to renew it in Ottawa.

The Visa Office in Singapore just sent me an email and told me to renew my Post Graduate Work Permit "IN" Canada.

Can I renew my Malaysian passport in Malaysia in December, as soon as I get my passport and I renew my PGWP via online. Using the receipt to apply the Temporary Resident Visa in Singapore?

Please advise!!!!
