Renew open work permit and Apply for permanent residence Quebec

I want to ask you if it's possible to apply for permanent residence from Quebec having my open work permit, my wife is an international student and supposed to finish her PhD by March 2019.

Is is possible for me to apply for permanent residence having until now working in Quebec under an open work permit for 2 months.

You can apply under QSW if you have sufficient points ...work permit doesn't matter ...
