Remote positions outside Canada

Hello,

I am a PR holder and am currently outside Canada. Is it possible and legal for me to find a remote opportunity with a company in Canada and work from my home country till the COVID situation eases out and I am able to return back to Canada. Or a PR holder can only pursue jobs in Canada only if he/she is physically present in Canada.

As a PR You can work for any company you want either in Canada or remotely from your home country. Keep in mind though that working remotely for a Canadian company will not count towards the residency obligation given would not count as a temporary assignment out of Canada where it would be assumed started work in Canada
