nothing has been received yet medicals expired in february hence why i think they will have to be redone just wondering if nonaccompanying kids will have to remedical (if told to remedical)
I do believe so chickie...when I sent an e-mail regarding a re-med and never mentioned the non-accompanying children...when they e-mailed me back they said "if we need a re-med for the "hubby" and his children we will notify you at that time.....so I'm guessing we are going to have to do the kids again
Okay this may sound extremely silly but do I have to get a medical examination for the rest of the family even if they aren't immigrating here? I am rather confused!

No. Medicals only need to be done by the applicant and the applicant's non-Canadian dependent children, whether the children are accompanying the applicant to Canada or not.

thank you! that is just dumb to have to remedical the kids again if they aren't coming but I guess it is more money in their pocket right! My kids are accompanying but I was asking this for a friend. Thanks again for your help. Blessings

I agree...I mean if they are not coming with the principal applicant I can see them doing the initial meds...but having to do 2 and then when you decide later on you want the kids to come then you have to do it ALL over AGAIN...
