Remed request - panel physician do not use form IMM 1017

Hi my friends, I have recently received a request for re-medical check, and received the form IMM 1017 in the web application online. However, when I contacted the panel physician in my country (IOM), IOM informed that they do not use this IMM 1017 form as they use e-medical and they only need my IME number. According to IOM this IMM 1017 form is not relevant to them and I don't need to do anything after check-up/paying, they will send the results directly themselves. Could anyone applying from outland verify if this is the normal process for you as well? Can I safely ignore the IMM 1017 form that IRCC sent me as my panel physician instructed? Many thanks!
