So i'm about ready to send off my spousal sponsorship package and I was just going over it again(and again) to make sure that there are not blank spaces, missing signatures, etc. When we realized how confusing this question is. Relationship and Sponsorship Evaluation (IMM 5532) Part C Question 4.
It asks, "If you are not living together, have you visited each other during your relationship?"
Now, we are living together and have been for a while, but I have been told to never leave any question unanswered. So do I check yes for the time before we were living together and give details on visits(I lived in upstate NY and he lived in southern Ontario, so it was only a few hours between us), or do I leave it blank?
I printed out 2 different versions of the page both with the question answered and unanswered so I'm prepared because I am sending it out today, so some help would be great! Thanks!

We put not applicable since the answer to the question is ultimately, YES you live together. You can always put additional information if you felt like you needed it on a sep sheet.

Yes BUT my husband has been in Canada with me and has lived here for the better part of nine years so I dont think having some additional info would hurt you to explain how you visited back and forth prior to living together
You don't think that if I filled in the "details of visits" that it would cause confusion with the officer considering I checked yes that we ARE living together. I just want to make sure that I do this right and not get it returned because it was too confusing or incomplete. I had someone else tell me to explain in the box under "check yes or no if you're living together and give details on your cohabitation periods", write a little snippet saying that we visited each other various times before we moved in together, and then to just leave the rest of that page blank because we said we ARE living together. Would that be okay and less confusing?
