Hi, can any one give expert opinion on following case, My friend is willing to apply for TRV he has USA 5 years multiple visa, he traveled to Europe, UK and many Asian and middle east countries, but the issue is he was applied PR in 1998 (he changed his mind and not proceed) after 5 years he received refusal latter, right now he is working in Abu dhabi since 5 years, job change 3 months ago salary AED 14000, family live in UAE, he has side business cafe teria on his wife name, also his elder brother is Canadian national live in Canada since 1996, question is;
- Can he hide his PR application
- Can he hide his Elder brother and Old PR status (if they have old record they will ban him for i think life time)
- Can he show above things (overall current condition of the countries might be possible they will refuse him)
anyone can advice, Thanks.

If he tries to "hide" things - best case scenario he can expect to be refused. Worst case scenario he can expect to be banned from Canada for five year.
This TRV is for what? Visiting or something else? He cant hide anything since that would be misrepresentation and almost guaranteed ban, if its for visiting just apply honestly.
IRCC doesn't "delete" records of previous immigration application. I am confident that he is in the system and IRCC can look it once they are processing his TRV application. Many applicants assumed that they can hide previous travel history because their passport is changed. That is wrong. Regardless whether the passport number has changed, basic information doesn't change like his birthdate. Most obvious way would be IRCC contacting the passport control department from the issuing countries and have them confirm the identity of the applicant.
