It only means that what you have written on your form has been reviewed and your case is deemed fit to be processed - so the "IN PROCESS". They will then send you a letter to put in all your doucments to support what you have filled and claimed in your form.
The onus is then put on to you to prove that you satisfy all your claims. Then the other things will follow,- Medicals, BC, SC etc etc.
A case in process, in my view, can still be rejected, if the IO is not satisfied.
