After going through the forums, it seems Biometric Request and Decision are independent of each other. However, did anyone face rejection after giving their biometrics?

It seems unnecessary to make a trip to your VAC to know you did not make it.

Yes - we've seen rejections after biometrics.

As you mentioned yourself that there is no connection between two. Bio metrics are taken as part of Application submission process.

Yeah but it should be the only one you’ll make for further Canada visa applications for ten years.
