Good evening.
I am now I Canada.
I sent application for FSW 2012. I already done medicine and received results. After that I got letter from immigration that I need go to rehabilitation ( I had DUE 6 years ago). I went to rehabilitation and now I am waiting already 1 year and no answer. I got GCMS and I saw that my file already done, but left criminal because I went to rehabilitation. Can I apply for Temporary Resident Visa within Canada and get my PR card before full rehabilitation? I mean I can work in Canada now with my PR and contininue waiting full rehab.

Thanks for all advice.

No and no.

Without the rehabilitation application being approved, you can't apply for a TRV and won't be able to land as a PR or get a PR card.

You have to wait until the rehab application is being processed before you can do anything else.

I have a question....My Husband Rehab was approved and valid for three years, expires Sept 2015...we sent in his Outland PR application in Apr 2014 and we are waiting...when he was approved for Rehab CIC sent a letter indicating that if he wanted to extend the TPR the request had to be sent 60 days before it expired but that was three years ago and now we have to send in a complete application again....His TRP is for multi entries....The PR process is taking a WHOLE LOT longer then we thought, and as per that case notes it looks like the file has not been touched since August of 2014, and we have sent in the application for Rehab/TRP again because we don't want him to be turned away at the border...Are there anys out there that have experience with an approved Rehab/TRP and PR applications?
