Regarding Tourist Visa

Hello all. I am an international student currently doing my bachelors in the US. I applied for tourist visa and completed my biometrics on the first week of December. One of the requirements of the tourist visa was to upload a travel itinerary. I uploaded a ticket and hotel bookings for the first week of January (2nd to 9th). However, my application is still under process(under eligibility review). If I don’t hear back from the embassy by the end of December, should I upload an updated itinerary of a flight of a later date?

Processing is about 50 days so you can update if you want. Your application will continue to be processed even if date of intended travel has passed.

No. Officers don’t base a refusal or approval on itinerary.
