Hi All,

I am in the process of collecting my docs to submit at CHC New Delhi.

I wanted to know about PCC Certificate . Is it requires to get PCC Certificate from the place your Passport was issued or it should be taken from the place u r residing.

My PPT is from Delhi and I am staying here so I got my PCC Certificate from here. But my husband's ppt was issued from Bareilly and he is staying in Delhi with me. So from where he can get his PCC.

Please tell.

You can get your PCC from the place your PP is issued, as when you will put a request for PCC, this is get followed to the local Police Station to get the verification. Only ONE PCC is required for India.

Regards
Pankaj

THANKS FOR YOUR REPLY.

But if my husband want to get PCC from Delhi can he get it or he has to go the place where his ppt was issued.

He can apply from Delhi, but eventually it will go to his place, get verified and will be sent to delhi.

Technically he can apply. You can also check with your local (Delhi) Police Station where you are going to apply, Generally they ask you to apply from the place your PP has been isued.

Regards,
Pankaj

Thanks 4 yur reply.

I applied from PPt office from New Delhi and I got the same on the same day.

Does this means that he wud not get it on the same day. Also he can only apply from Police Station and cant go to PPT office as ppt

What I mean to say with regard to your question is: Yes your husband can apply for PCC from Passport Office New Delhi. But He may not get it done same day. I am not sure about this as I have not done this for me. As I know PCC is actually verified by the person's local police authority, for you it is Delhi and for him it is Bareilly.

Pankaj
